Violin

You may being violin lessons around the age of 5 (no upper age limit). A beginner’s set includes a violin, a bow, a case and a shoulder support. Your teacher will help you find a beautifully toned instrument in a size most suited for you. You can buy second-hand violins from students who have moved on to larger ones. In the beginning, it is advisable that parents accompany their children to the lessons in order to get instructions for practising at home. Children need support and encouragement in their hobby. At the Avonia Music Institute, you may study the violin in a group or in private instruction.
