Recorder

The recorder is an old art instrument that was at the peak of its popularity during the baroque period, in the 17th and 18th centuries. Nowadays, all kinds of music can be played on the recorder: old and new, classical and popular – alone and together. Recorders are available in several sizes. Playing usually begins with a soprano recorder, but as your skill accumulates and fingers grow, you may move on to alto, tenor and even bass recorders. The largest recorders can reach up to 2-3 metres in length! Recorders are made of wood, but you can begin your hobby with a plastic instrument. It is an inexpensive instrument and it is also easy to carry along. You can begin playing around the age of 6. The recorder is a fast way to access the world of music, since producing sounds is fairly easy.
